For repairing cracked road surfaces and stress-relief layers
Overview
Thin-layer pavement made with a special asphalt mixture of which Max. Aggregate size is 5 mm. An aggregate structure packed with sand mastic that has been reinforced with vegetable fibers results in excellent flexibility and watertightness.
Features
- Economic Efficiency: Less material is used, and no milling work is required to adjust the road surface elevation.
- Flexibility: Reflection cracking from cracked road surfaces is inhibited.
- Water-tightness: Prevents the infiltration of rainwater into the existing pavement through existing cracks.
- Shortened construction period: Construction work can be performed without road milling work, thereby shortening the road closing time for works and reducing the impact on roadside residential environments.
Uses
- Repairing cracked road surfaces and the thin-layer overlay method
- Inhibiting reflection cracks and laying down stress-relief layers
- Underlying layer (impermeable layer) of drainage pavement
- Leveling layer
