This permeable asphalt pavement for roadways can draw rainwater underground in the same way as natural ground. While permeable pavement technology that has been used to date on sidewalks and in parking lots has been harnessed, improvements in terms of durability and aggregate scattering resistance have been made to expand this product’s applicability to heavy traffic roads.

This new type of multifunctional pavement combines the durability of Esmac (a stone mastic asphalt (SMA)) with the road surface functionality of drainage pavement. It was developed through research conducted jointly with the Civil Engineering Research Institute for Cold Regions of Japan.

This split (stone) mastic asphalt (SMA) is made with a special gap-graded asphalt mixture and is characterized by the meshing effect of coarse aggregates and the tamping effect of high-quality sand mastic.

This tracked treads resistant pavement is made with a special gap-graded asphalt mixture fortified with hard asphalt cement (Tread Resistant Asphalt) and is used to constitute the surface layer of asphalt pavement.

This asphalt mixture is made with large coarse aggregates with a maximum particle diameter of over 25mm (1.0in). The meshing effect of large aggregates supports loads and provides excellent resistance to deformation. In addition, since each leveled layer can be made thicker than conventional pavement, this mixture is frequently used to implement the thick-lift method for rapidly replacing pavement.

This is a method in which a single size of coarse aggregate coated with asphalt (pre-coated chips) is evenly spread over a gap-grained asphalt mixture and fixed by compacting and press-fitting with rollers.

Smart Mortar, a quick-curing resin-based material for repairing chipped edges and bumps, is a resin-based mortar-type repair material that can be used to repair edge-chipped, dented, and uneven structures and pavements in a short period of time. It will not peel or crack because it superbly adheres to the substrate and is flexible. It is easy to handle since no special tools are required.

This split（stone）mastic asphalt is made with a mixture bleached with a decolorizing binder, white pigment, bright color aggregates, and more. In addition to being just as bright as concrete pavement, this asphalt has the characteristics of split（stone）mastic asphalt: abrasion resistance, flow resistance, watertightness, and crack resistance.

A Hot Mix Asphalt made with a special resilient asphalt. Excellent fatigue resistance enables the construction of pavements that effectively prevent reflection crack formation.

Thin-layer pavement made with a special asphalt mixture of which Max. Aggregate size is 5 mm. An aggregate structure packed with sand mastic that has been reinforced with vegetable fibers results in excellent flexibility and watertightness.
