Safety is improved thanks to the lattice-like grooves incorporated into the pavement surface

Overview

This is a road traffic safety measure method that works by pressing molds into the pavement surface to incorporate lattice-like grooves into the road surface. These grooves make the pavement safer for vehicles in rainy weather and in winter.

Features

  1. Improved safety for vehicles (drainage function).
  2. Improved slip resistance in rainy weather.
  3. Less spraying of water and improved visibility.
  4. Antifreeze agents stay effective for longer (retention function).
  5. Can be incorporated into existing asphalt pavement by using a special road surface heater.

Uses

  • Sloped roads
  • Curved sections
  • In front of a stop line such as a crosswalk
  • Snowy cold areas
