Overview

This is a split (stone) mastic asphalt pavement with improved watertightness, a feature of SMAC, as well as an improved composition for waterproofing. In order to sufficiently compact the mixture and ensure impermeability, Foam Set, a special additive used in Ecofine, a Warm Mix Asphalt, is used for the purpose of improving workability.

Features

1. Water tightness: Essentially impermeable with a permeability rating of no more than 10^-7 cm/s

• Waterproofing layers of bridge decks
• Paving in locations where watertightness is required, such as waste disposal sites
