Joint filler with rubber-modified asphalt that is ideal for joints and cracks

Overview

Rubber-modified asphalt joint filler made by blending asphalt with thermoplastic styrene-butadiene rubber or petroleum-based resins using a special melting method. There are two types of this joint filler: low elasticity and high elasticity, both of which can accommodate heat injection and pasting (molded products).

Features

  1. Flexibility: Excellent flexibility at low temperatures and maintains water resistance without cracking or breaking even in cold weather.
  2. Flow Resistance: High resistance to flow at high temperatures and no spillage or flow even in summer.
  3. Workability: Melts easily when heated for exceptional workability.
  4. Adhesion: Adheres very well to concrete structures (using a special primer).

Uses

  • Construction joints between new and old asphalt pavements
  • Joints between gussasphalt and concrete structures
  • Waterproof edge joints on bridge surfaces and rooftops
  • Joints in concrete pavements
  • Cracks in asphalt pavements
  • Joints between pond waterproofing elements and concrete structures
Injection into the joint between new and existing asphalt pavement
