Reducing mixture production temperatures helps reduce the consumption of fuel and inhibit CO₂ emissions

Overview

A special additive to improve the mixability and compactibility of asphalt mixtures. Used in the production of Warm Mix Asphalt.

Features

  1. Warm Mix: Workability is the same as Hot Mix Asphalt even when the mixture-production and paving temperature is reduced by approximately 30°C compared to Hot Mix Asphalt.
  2. Improved workability: A high level of workability is achieved when the temperature of the mixture is the same as Hot Mix Asphalt.
  3. Versatility: Can be used to produce asphalt mixtures with various types of bitumen, such as normal grades, PMA, and decolorized bitumen.

Uses

  • When there is a need to reduce CO2 emissions
  • When it is difficult to obtain the suficient compaction in a cold weather
  • When seeking to ensure the compaction of thin layers of pavement
  • When seeking to reduce the curing time before opening the road to traffic
