Overview

With this maintenance method, the existing road surface is fully resurfaced with a heated asphalt mixture in order to restore the surface of roads with a relatively low volume of heavy-vehicle traffic.

Features

1. Low cost: Construction costs are kept low through the reduction of materials used.
2. Superior properties: The adhesion of the tack coat is not compromised since construction work is carried out while the emulsion is being sprayed at the same time. The appropriate texture of the pavement enhances skid resistance and visibility at night and in rainy weather.
3. Shortened construction time: The use of a thin layer precludes the need for extensive milling work and increases the pace at which construction is carried out. The process by which a tack coat is sprayed and cured is not required since the emulsion is sprayed at the same time that construction work is carried out.
