Rapid drying of wet road surfaces prior to paving work
Overview
A self-propelled hot-air road surface dryer for drying slabs and pre-paved road surfaces made wet after a rainfall or fog as a preliminary treatment for deck slab waterproofing works and paving works.
Features
- Unlike a direct-fired system, a hot-air drying system prevents thermal degradation of deck slabs due to the exposure to excess heat.
- Uneven drying due to uneven exposure to heat is prevented since this system does not produce heat that is pinpointed the way a direct-fired system does.
- With the amount of heat that needs to be produced being approximately 57% less than what is produced by a direct-fired system, this system saves energy and generates less gas emissions.
- A more compact and lightweight body delivers improved workability and mobility.
Uses
- Drying of bridge deck slab surfaces and existing road surfaces
