Joint filler with rubber-modified asphalt that is ideal for joints and cracks
Overview
Rubber-modified asphalt joint filler made by blending asphalt with thermoplastic styrene-butadiene rubber or petroleum-based resins using a special melting method. There are two types of this joint filler: low elasticity and high elasticity, both of which can accommodate heat injection and pasting (molded products).
Features
- Flexibility: Excellent flexibility at low temperatures and maintains water resistance without cracking or breaking even in cold weather.
- Flow Resistance: High resistance to flow at high temperatures and no spillage or flow even in summer.
- Workability: Melts easily when heated for exceptional workability.
- Adhesion: Adheres very well to concrete structures (using a special primer).
Uses
- Construction joints between new and old asphalt pavements
- Joints between gussasphalt and concrete structures
- Waterproof edge joints on bridge surfaces and rooftops
- Joints in concrete pavements
- Cracks in asphalt pavements
- Joints between pond waterproofing elements and concrete structures
